This initial BLURIT release processes photos locally in your browser and does not provide photo uploads or user accounts.
Photo processing
When you choose a photo, your browser reads it from your device. Face detection, manual edits, effects, previews, and exports run locally. BLURIT does not receive the original photo, face coordinates, masks, or exported image. Do not select or download an image if your browser or device cannot safely process it.
Website resources
The website serves its application files, the face-detection runtime, and the face-detection model. The face-detection runtime and model are both served from this website. These requests deliver code and model files; your photo is not included.
Temporary browser data
The selected photo, face locations, masks, and export are held in browser memory and temporary object URLs while you edit. BLURIT does not save them to an account, database, local storage, or server. Resetting the editor or closing the page ends the editing session. A file you download is saved by your browser to the location you choose.
Connection information
When your browser requests the website or model resources, the web host or CDN may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, and browser user-agent. Hosting providers may retain access logs under their own retention policies. BLURIT never sends photos, face locations, or masks as telemetry.
Visit statistics
To understand how many people use the site, BLURIT counts page views with its own simple, cookie-free counter. For each page view it records only the page address and the referring website name, and it adds one to daily totals. To count unique visitors it computes a one-way hash from your IP address and browser details using a random salt that is deleted after two days, so it cannot be linked back to you; the IP address itself is not stored. No cookies or advertising trackers are used, and the counter is skipped if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Future services
This policy describes the current local photo editor only. If BLURIT later offers accounts or optional cloud processing, that service will require its own clear notice and consent before any personal data or media is sent to a server.
